1/28 - Is being rich losing empathy?

Today was a shit show with poltics. He put out an order that would get rid of FAFSA, Medicaid, funding for certain things, school lunches and more. It’s just hard to believe this is the same America we live in.

Growing up, every kid in my school ate the free lunches because we all grew up with middle class working parents that didn’t have time to make us lunches or couldn’t afford to.

All my friends were able to go to universities because of FAFSA.

And medicaid has been a life saver for my mom and me growing up. Middle class parents have money. They live paycheck to paycheck. Some of my friend’s parents are still living paycheck to paycheck, if not, they’re all in debt too.

This goes back to what I was feeling before he got inargued is part of being rich you stop feeling back for the poor and middle class? You forget where you came from? Is that what makes you rich? Because rich people don’t think of themselves remotely close to middle class or underprivileged people. They think they’re peasants.

And now that the rich think they control everything, they don’t feel bad for the poor. Hence not once do they ever think about donating.

Anyways, the judge put a pause on the order. But the panick amongst everyone was a lot. And the days just feel draining.

7/10 - Literally surviving at this point

Intuition - Take it day by day and stay positive.
